This month’s star guest is Richard Smith on guitar. Richard has tremendous technical ability on the instrument as well as a wide repertoire of jazz classic songs. Added to this an appreciation and understanding of the history of the music ranging from Django Reinhart up to the present day.

Jazz in the bar this month features award winning saxophonist John Sanderson playing flute ,and bass clarinet in addition to the usual tenor, alto and baritone saxes.
Jazz vocalist Sue Benson presents a selection of great jazz standards. All accompanied by Bob Hudson’s superb jazz trio.
Born just outside Selby, North Yorkshire, Andrew Nix has established himself on the organ circuit not only as a musician but also as an entertainer. His varied musical repertoire along with his Yorkshire humour has made him one of the country’s favourite performers.

Elizabeth Harrison born December 1976 just outside Preston, Lancashire. She has established herself on the concert circuit not only as a musician but also as an entertainer. Her varied musical repertoire along with her cheerful Lancashire humour has made her one of the country’s favourite performers. Elizabeth is at home on both electronic and cinema organs and she is part of the Blackpool Tower Wurlitzer Organist team. Elizabeth is also organist for The Blackpool Dance Festival held in The Winter Gardens in October annually.
