Flying High Expressive Arts CIC invite you to join us for our annual Summer Showcase where we share with you our wonderful young people’s talents and creativity in a series of scenes, dances and songs. We have a creative retelling of The Emperor’s New Clothes from our Saturday Intermediate Youth Theatre, a medley of songs from ‘The Sound of Music’ from our young singers, a ‘curious’ Alice in Wonderland themed dance piece from our Youth Dance group, excerpts of ‘Evacuees’ from our Junior Youth Theatre 2 and ‘Into the Woods’ from our Junior Youth Theatre 1, and a fun look at the upcoming holiday season from our Monday Senior Youth Theatre in addition to a mixture of other original drama pieces.
We also have our Young Company sharing at least two of the songs from preparations of their 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe show, an original version of Beauty and the Beast which, in addition to the Fringe will be performed at the Bonington Theatre from 21st – 23rd December – a Christmas family show.
Each showcase will last approx. 2hrs 20mins including an interval.
