Beatles Complete – A Tribute to the Fab Four

Beatles Complete present a night of Beatlemania packed with massive hits from the most influential band of all time.

Having now performed over 200 shows at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, this Liverpool based ‘beat combo’ are the youngest ever Beatles band to gain a residency at the Cavern Club where they still perform every Thursday and Saturday, packing the club out and creating a unique Beatles vibe. Aged between 18 and 22 Beatles Complete are the closest thing you will get to the unbridled joy of seeing the young Beatles when they first lit up the world. Whilst they can’t promise all the screaming and tears from the 60’s, they can give you a host of classic songs brilliantly performed by a band of accomplished multi-instrumentalists, spanning right across The Beatles’ recording history, from Please Please Me right through to Let It Be.

Having performed at International Beatle Week for the last 4 years running, the lads have been invited to return again for 2025 and are also taking their extended show to theatres across the UK.  The band has also appeared on the BBC and on TV in Japan and The Netherlands.

This is a night not to be missed for all Beatles fans performed by a band who are quickly making a name for themselves due to their musical prowess, boundless energy and easy Liverpool wit. The Beatles were a phenomena in musical history, Beatles Complete remind you why.

Jazz Steps: Clark Tracey Sextet- Double Bill

A seasonal treat to hear two renowned Jazz Suites composed by Stan Tracey, inspired by the poetic imagery of Dylan Thomas’ works: A Child’s Christmas in Wales and Under Milk Wood.

Next year marks the 60th anniversary of Stan’s composition Under Milk Wood . Originally released as a mono LP in 1965 (and re-released several times since), it is rated a ’canonical classic of British jazz’. His grandson Ben Tracey recollects that Stan “began writing the music for his masterpiece on the night bus home to Streatham from his job as the house pianist at Ronnie Scott’s”.

The peerless ballad Starless and Bible Black and other evocative tunes well-integrated with lyrical passages from Dylan’s work, transport the listener to the fictional small Welsh fishing town of Llareggub – spell that backwards! Written for radio, Under Milk Wood has a host of eccentric characters and follows their daily activities, loving them, despite their flaws.

Line-up: Clark Tracey drums, TBA piano, Simon Allen saxes, Andrew Cleyndert bass and narration from both Ben Tracey and Sharon White.
