This is Haresh Sood’s Directorial Debut. A real-life comedy spin on the film called Monsoon Wedding by Mira Nair. My Nieces Big Fat Delhi Weddingwas shot in Gurugram, a suburb of Delhi, over 10 days during 10 ceremonies highlighting the key ‘C’ words associated to a big fat Indian wedding including, cost, culture, ceremonies and above all the comedy. Showcased at more than 100 film festivals globally, with a reach of 5 million people worldwide, this film won awards all over the globe in various categories at film festivals.
There will be a special screening of this film during Haresh’s second film tour ‘Cama Sood Hara (coming next year to Bonington Theatre).
