Innovative singer-songwriter Tash Bird implements live looping techniques to create her astounding idiosyncratic sound. Soulful and stirring, Tash’s euphoric music offers a candid account of her struggles and triumphs. Her self-released debut EP Normal Is Boring smashed into the Top 20 on the iTunes UK singer-songwriter charts.
Festival favourite Tash has graced the stages of such prestigious events as Y Not, Splendour, Beat The Streets, Dot To Dot and Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She has also enjoyed frequent airplay on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Nottingham.
James Goochfirst grabbed attention as the front of rowdy Nottingham indie rock four-piece Reflekter. Also working as a solo artist, James takes an introspective approach on his personal projects and explores his inner relationship with the wider world.
James started the year with a stunning appearance at Beat The Streets festival. He has since appeared on BBC Introducing to unveil “Leaving In The Night” as heard on his recently released live EP The Perfect Storm, plus he filmed a session with BBC Beats Live.
